Abstract Background The resonant-frequency-tunable vibration isolator based on Shape Memory Alloys (SMAs) combines the priority of passive and active isolators, expands its engineering application, improves efficiency isolation. However, special characteristics SMAs complexity result in difficulty finite-element analysis. Methods This article employs ABAQUS subroutine presents analysis for this isolator, which simulates thermomechanical responses SMA wires mechanical behaviors isolator. Results pseudoelasticity were simulated validated. such as temperatures, martensitic volume fractions, displacements, equivalent stresses, obtained verified. Conclusions results show that method presented is appropriate simulating reveal detail
